Kitchens, properly thought through

A great kitchen has to do more than look good on a design screen. It has to work in the room, work for the people using it and still feel right years after it has been fitted.

Every DW kitchen is personally designed by Daniel, bringing more than 25 years of cabinet-making, high-end kitchen fitting and practical renovation experience into the decisions made before anything is ordered.

That means thinking beyond doors, colours and worktops. The layout, cabinetry, services, clearances, materials, installation, surrounding trades and even the quirks of the property itself are considered as part of one kitchen.

From first survey to final fit

DW Kitchens can bring together the complete kitchen project, including design, supply, removal of the existing kitchen, installation and coordination of the specialist trades required around it.

Daniel remains your main point of contact throughout, overseeing the survey, design, specification, ordering and project delivery.

So rather than a design being handed from one person to another, there is continuity between the original idea and the finished kitchen.

Designed with a cabinet maker's eye

Daniel trained as a cabinet maker and spent many years working within the high-end bespoke kitchen industry before establishing DW Kitchens.

That experience changes the way a kitchen is designed.

It means understanding how cabinetry is constructed, how an awkward space can be solved, what can be altered when something does not quite fit and which details will make a difference to the finished result.

A kitchen can look perfect on a screen.

The real test is whether it works when you build it.

Spend where it matters

The most expensive option is not automatically the best one.

Sometimes investing in a better worktop, more useful storage or a specially made piece of joinery will transform the kitchen.

Sometimes it won't.

Daniel will tell you when bespoke craftsmanship earns its place and when a well-designed standard solution, fitted exceptionally well, is the smarter choice.

DW works with a range of kitchen suppliers and can combine manufactured cabinetry with individually made elements where the space calls for them.

The aim is not to sell you the most expensive kitchen.

It is to help you spend your money where it genuinely improves it.

The fit matters

Once the kitchen arrives, the quality of the installation becomes just as important as the products you have chosen.

The room needs to be properly assessed and set out. Cabinets need to be square, securely fixed and capable of carrying the weight they will eventually hold. Panels need to meet imperfect walls properly. Doors, drawers and worktops need to align.

These details are easy to overlook individually.

Together, they are what make a finished kitchen feel right.

The last millimetre matters.

One kitchen. One standard.

Whether Daniel is personally carrying out the installation or overseeing a DW fitting team as the business grows, every kitchen is delivered around the same principle:

If DW puts its name to it, it has to be right.

Daniel remains personally responsible for the design, customer relationship and DW standard throughout the project.

Previous DW Kitchens projects

Below is a selection of kitchens completed by DW Kitchens.

As you look through them, look beyond the door style or colour.

The quality of a kitchen is also in the less obvious details: how cabinetry meets the room, how panels align, how awkward spaces have been resolved and how the individual elements come together as one finished space.
